Dear Authors,

Last April I ran an Instafreebie Event on my site coupled with a Giveaway. This led to fantastic buzz. Judging from the increase in daily hits to my site, this was an enormous success (way beyond what any of us expected). The moctezumajohnson.com site was getting over 1000 hits per day. This year can be even bigger! 

I’m looking for last year’s authors plus a new crop of authors writing erotica, sci-fi, fantasy, and more. 

I’d like to do the same thing this year. What I need from all of you (and any authors you suggest to include) is a free book during the appropriate time. The book could be free on Kindle but it would be MUCH BETTER if it was on Instafreebie (or Bookfunnel). What I will do is organize all of it on a landing page hosted on my site with all the covers and blurbs and info and shit and then authors and readers will click to each book’s host page. On the host page, readers can download the freebie when they opt-in to your mailing list. That will help you promote in the future as well as right now during the event.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I’m attaching a “Join the Event” link to a sign up page in the sidebar (scroll down if on a mobile device). Please use the form to sign up as it will help me organize. Last year we had a baker’s dozen or participants. I’m hoping this year we can crack 50 authors. So please join and also let other cool writers know about it. The more the merrier as there will be more cross-promotion and more success.
